Something I hear a lot is that people are disgusted by the number of fat people in this country and want to keep our children away from fatty foods... this here is the result of that thinking. We've started to ban soda from schools. Candy is next.
So is that acceptable? I don't know, but there is certainly a line to be found somewhere where we're protecting the children or denying them what they want to eat.
I mean, gaming is meant to be a distraction. It's meant to pull us away from our daily grind. But I have to say that we definitely got a president who's a lot better than other candidates in terms of how he views gaming. When people get poor grades in school and people are there to play the blame game (no pun intended), Obama says it's the fault of the parents. FINALLY! Clinton was against violence in video games. Who would've known what would have happened had SHE gotten into office...
I for one have an iPhone and I cannot tell you how much I wish it were an Android. Hopefully, the 'Droid can come out with a version that beats Apple's 4G series that are approaching the market.
