That's true but you said the US has no enemies, not hasn't been at war. I would argue you can have lots of enemies without being at war with anyone, especially when conducting "police actions"

The United States does not have any enemies. There is no list of enemies. The last time the United States had an enemies list was World War II.

This also explains why Snowden could not be charged with treason.

Of course they do, now the list just reads muslims in scrawny handwriting and a squiggle that looks like it might say gays. Also did you forget about Russians, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm 1 & 2 and all the other jaunts the US military have been on since ww2?

You don't appear to understand what "actionable" means. It literally means "there is nothing to do". It's what LEO say when they determine that something/someone isn't credible.

Umm, no. Actionable means that they can take action. If something is actionable, there is something that can be done. Not saying in this case they should/shouldn't have anything but you're basically using the opposite of what the word means.

  12. Yeah, but now you have to charge and carry around 2 batteries.

I'm not even sure how you charge your battery when its not in the phone? Chargers for just your phone batteries hasn't been mainstream since the StarTAC was a big deal.

To each their own, but the idea of carrying around 2 batteries isn't making me even slightly envious of your $25 2ndary batter that 'only takes 30 seconds to replace'....If i really wanted more portable juice i'd probably carry one of those external usb battery packs to 'charge on the go'. Even that seems more convenient than whatever you must do.

I think the point is to replace the battery when it stops holding a decent charge (instead of the whole phone), not swop them when one runs dry.

  13. Well, I'm not. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy good sound but I'm perfectly happy with the onboard tech and can ignore any artifacts for the sake of convenience. I use some cheap creative in ear buds and it's basically a perfect setup (for me). Take away the headphone jack and I won't be buying it, regardless of any other featues. If you're really an audiophile (are you really more than one?) you won't be listening through a phone anyway.

I know, that's what I said, apples margins are so tight and their costs so high that they can't afford not to jack the prices. They need the import fees and duty for the apps to be paid after all. It would probably be different if they were sitting on one of the largest piles of cash around and it's beyond the pale that individual developers could increase prices if they felt their apps were now undervalued. Nope, total across the board price increase is the right thing to do. I wonder, when the pound goes back up if they will reduce the prices. Somehow, I doubt it.

If the casino wasn't told upfront the cards were marked, it would also void the contract even if the law didn't make it illegal to use marked cards in the first place, because the casino would never have gone through with it if they had known upfront.

To be fair, his insisting on using a specific set of cards should have rang alarm bells, at least to have them inspected by someone from the casino, if they miss whatever and let it play that's on their head.
