Agreed, media corps and the like still get satisfaction just by getting in your head. You know that song that just won't get out of your head? they do it on purpose, like a drug, so you come back for more. The best solution but also the most difficult one is really to completely ignore media and just go on and live our lives in the real world, you know the real world, where people can make music on their own because they happen to have a guitar, where the happenings of daily life provide enough drama as it is, where romance comes unscripted, and where the clouds are rendered better than with any 3D software....

  6. Political pressure and retardedness on TIME Names Mark Zuckerberg Person of Year · · Score: 1

This is clearly a case of political pressure. And also a case of popularism retardedness... I used to be on Facebook, and let me tell you that this site just reeks of sheer stupidity also the coding of it is far from brilliants, there are gaping security holes everywhere, bugs, it is slow as hell... but people love it, well at least people who are not tech-saavy (and therefore dont realize all the issues with it). Zuckerberg? He is a crap coder thats for sure, if they want real coders they should look more the way of Torvalds, Carmack etc... He is also a scheming bastard with not respect whatsoever for anything but his fat ego. The social network movie? I started watching it, got bored with Zuckerberg's scheming jew's life after about 20 minutes. Clearly not worth making a movie about... Assange was well ahead in the Time poll and clearly in a shorter amount of time influenced alot more than Zuckerberg. US government censorship at work again. You know what? As a EU resident I say fuck the US government let them rot. Enough bending over backwards to please americans. I fully support anon if they want to strike Time and FB to make a point.

  7. Reliability? on Amazon Web Services Launches DNS Service · · Score: 1

More like a liability! Imagine that, a company constantly dangling (much like GoDaddy and Paypal) some imaginary Terms of Service (need I remind everyone that TOS are of no value in court, they are little more than company wishes of good behavior and traps to get more cash from you) that can cut you off at any point day or night depending on their latest tantrum? No Amazon, you won't have me anymore in any way. Off topic: I started boycotting Amazon and Amazon Marketplace companies, Paypal I cannot boycott yet but will at the next opportunity, I am boycotting companies that registered their domain with GoDaddy, I am of course boycotting GoDaddy and whenever possible registration of US operated TLDs, and I am boycotting generally any American company that seems to be biased.

In France it is illegal to refuse to sell something based solely on "I don't like them". You have to base you refusal to sell on a legal problem that a court of law could approve of.
