Of course this only helps parents who care, unless say internet privileges were revoked if mom or dad hasn't been in to review juniors surf tracks. Before encrypting and saving a link could be tagged with its rating - to help parents who might be a little clue deprived.

I just downloaded and installed k-meleon and am using it, but the arrow keys don't work. The scroll bar doesn't repeat while holding down the mouse button. Am I the only one that this is not working for? I like the look, but this renders it unusable for me.
I agree that the broken pencil is inconsistent when compared to the eyeglasses with and X. Definitely a pencil with an X is more quickly recognizable as 'no write' than a broken pencil. This was good constuctive critism by ortholattice.
It seems to be quite irresponsible journalism on Jon Katz's part to make misleading and incendiary statements like "sent out of state" and "driven out-of-state". According to the article and the kid's father he was sent to California to live with his granparents, and that's what the kid wanted out of this.
