There is a very simple reason that the set of all real numbers is greater than the set of all integers. Every integer is included in the set of all real numbers, and for each integer in that set, there is an infinite number of portions between any 2 integers, and each is a real number.
Thus, while the set of integers represent infinity, the set of real numbers represet infinity times infinity( or Infinity^2) Since everyone agrees that infinity is greater than 1, n^2 > n holds true in this case. But, when will people ever figure out that pi = crust + filling?
Politically correct activists will diatribe him for not also registering.goddess as a.god equivalent. "I mean, the SEXISM! How more of a bigot can he be?"
Then of course, are the people who will blast him for not getting.gods as well. "How inconsiderate to the other gods."
Oh, and then there is group that wants him to put.goddoesnotexist.. "for truly does he not realize that he's an idiot for thinking of any at all..."
Just stick to organizational domains and country codes... nobody needs a domain for every word in the dictionary
Stop with this religious debate, as it really has no place in an all-things-geek community and as the name darwin is really immaterial in this usage. So what if Apple was making a reference to evolution, they probably were just making a point how this is how Mac OS will be changing. As proper geeks, you guys should know that 'evolve' means to gradually change in any context, it just has a special connotation in biology.
I really see Apple the king of home computing in 10 years. Microsoft will eventually wither and die because of it's refusal to cater for the customer and to stop catering for itself. In 10 years, families will be running decendants of Mac OS X on their PCs; furthermore, nearly all the corporations and geeks like us will be running some form of UNIX, hopefully Linux.;) In reality, UNIX wins both ways, because OS X is based on BSD. Apple is bound to win in the novice user market, as with OS X, they have combined a rock solid OS core with an incredibly well done UI. Here's to Apple and Linux ruling the computing world in 10 years.
Indeed, what makes this a really juicy piece of evidence for the anti-trust guys is the fact that MS is attempting to dominate the real Kerberos by stealing the standard, making it incompatable, and putting it under lock and key.
Fair argument, however, Microsoft had no legal copyright and no legal right to restrict Kerberos in the first place. Microsoft is basically complaining that we are trying to take what they have rightfully stolen. Remember, Microsoft does not own Kerberos in any way, shape, or form, they only think they do. Kerberos is an open standard, and is licensed as such. That makes this all the worse. Microsoft is almost attempting a coverup, by supressing their actions and misdeeds to Kerberos.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but under the DMCA... isn't it illegal to make a program that will circumvent protections placed on a program? This means that Winzip and WinRAR are illegal products, and you should remove them from your HD immediately after removing Microsoft Outlook, which is clearly a tool for spreading virii.
According to the CEMA shipping numbers(attainable here), there are over 7 million DVD players in the United States and now VHS companies are getting desperate, attempting to utilize the inability of the DVD Forum to decide on one Rewritable format. What makes this less worth Philip's time and money, is that this MPEG2 DVHS tape will still suffer from signal degredation as all wound magnetic film does, although the fact that the recording is digital will hide this for some time. Furthermore, since it's compressed video, the loss in quality will become severe. At least you can fool with this piece of past obsolete junk, until they release the final format for DVD recording......and remember to hit rewind when you are done recording.
