next step is to rewrite bochs in java in which we can run vmware running ubuntu with wine loading qemu running reactos to load a java envirment for flash...
(i'd include java script but it's too fast these days...)
i don't think they're paying the royalties... i bet some kind of TAA lwayers are already counting their cash (Terrorist Association of America or something)...
don't be so fast to kill it, it's improved quite a bit recently...
it's not like there's that much software around used in it's original form from 15 years ago...
seriously though, one site less doesn't solve much. it's a matter of a fucked up society and education system... (though a simple radio button asking for the chatters age might avoid some of the unpleasant meetings... in an ideal world)
the literature available does seem to get worse as you progress in math and physics... i don't know how the state of things is where you currently are, but here by far not all the professors are that good at teaching and you often end up having to learn things on your own. but what is even worse is that the books available seldom provide exercises (and solutions) which are a great help when embarking on self study...
i'd be kinda suspicious towards'em since there was probably be nothing to read here back in the day... probably are just a bunch of bored ppl creating acconuts on every site they see...
describes quite accurately anyone who's following bbc, imho...;p
(edit: seriously though, at least they can spell:)
(edit: in fact the whole thing was probably an elaborate scheme to teach us a new word:)
(edit: can i really edit a msg here?:D)
I didn't know Hollywood is into law enforcement now as well... I mean I heard about the mpaa and their likes, but for f'sake is your gov that desperate?! I wouldn't trust them to make me coffee...
first let me say that i'm not a us citizen. i don't see how major isp offlinning in the states makes sense - if there's a global attack, on the web shouldn't there be a central unified response? whatever happens i think it's too dangerous to let your gov decide to do it on it's own and hurt traffic. if the rest of the world doesn't feel threatened, would you trust your gov to decide? though like many others here i can't image an emergency which'd require taking the net down...

oh man i'm getting old... shoudl've been "plotting on operas, firefoxes and chromes asses"... this way it'd be insightful at least...
do you remember what it was like being 15? i bet ie's plotting to get opera in bed or something :)
just because we weren't invited to the party, doesn't mean there wasn't one... ;(

is that what you call it these days?
but did you remove that id tag from your shirt yet? ...
sounds kinda odd for a site like that to do this, are they trying to scare people away? sounds like a lie to quite down complaints to me...

man, it's like using linux on 1992...
it must've took quite a bit of struggling to accept and admit it as a 7 dig, cut the dude some slack ;)
i'd rather see them stick to statistics (which we can easily discard) instead of trusting their students to properly handle the poor animals....
as a student, i do i somehow manage to buy a 1000$ laptop, it'd be devastating to get it stolen...
what's more important is that win2k support is withdrawn as well... and quite a few major organization still rely on it...

At least it's still in progress and not forsaken...
The federal government and Hollywood teamed up...
