Hmm - on the other hand Piers Anthony's books are of a very variable quality. You CAN force yourself to code but it takes ages and the quality will be low. Like the guy who asked the question said - once you are in the right mood it only takes a little while. I am reminded of a story that I can't quite remember about a guy who is asked to paint a picture (I think it was an old chinese story) - he sits around having a good time for 20 years and then paints the picture in an afternoon. The person who asked him to paint the picture is anoyed that he has waited 20 years for the picture that only took an afternoon to paint. But the painter replies that he needed the 20 years experience to paint it in an afternoon... something like that anyway. mark
