I agree, I read the binaries strictly for the articles. Its not just pictures, but the articles that really round out ones binary experience. ;)

Sorry smartguy! Penthouse is not going after the medium of travel that the images take. They are going after the person who initiates the sending of these images. If you would quit acting like a TROLL, then perhaps you'd understand that. Personally I think that you are just pissed off because you like to download these things and get to look at copyrighted penthouse pictures for free without purchasing their magazine. Joe

Look, I can't believe that there could be ONE negative word aimed at Global Access! I really don't. Only good things can come about from that.

Sure there are going to be problems, but these things can be worked out over time. Just like giving them tractors (and not having gas to run them) this will inevitably spurn on more progress in those countries.

In the end the more we can get these 3rd world countries up to speed to us western-worlders the better.

Now, in the Bible it clearly states that we are not to work on the Sabbath.

Well if you want to get technical, we could say that the Sabbath originally occurred on Saturday, not Sunday. When Constantine swooped into the Roman Empire he changed it to Sunday to better coincide with his worship of the sun.

Careful with that word: cult. That's generally used by bigger religions to scare people away from smaller religions, but I get your point...

  9. Re:point of openvms...? on IBM Cranks OS/2 Curtain, Compaq Revives OpenVMS · · Score: 1

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you.

In out work environment we get crashes on both sides of the coin, but when the unix boxen crash it is a MESS. When the VMS go down, its generally a result of something else causing it, and is back up in no time. And the file versioning is AWESOME!!!! The poster above obviously hasn't ever used VMS to know what file versioning is. CVS could NEVER handle the load of the entire system. On the VMX boxen, each and every file has multiple versions. Ex.

    STAJAMS.RPT;6
    STAJAMS.RPT;5
    STAJAMS.RPT;3
    STAJAMS.RPT;2
    STAJAMS.RPT;1

This is a blessing - for multiple reports ran througout the week, multiple EXE's, COM's, for doing bug testing. If you do a change to a file, it's saved as the newest highest version! If its wrong then just delete it, and its gone!

As far as source code developing goes we still use CVS, but there are many areas where File Versioning is still needed.
