    Windsor, Ontario. 10.30.2008
A recent discovery by a research team from the University of Windsor in Ontario Canada has unlocked one of the secrets to the universe. A recent finding which is the first to quantify what had been previously known as "Dark Matter" has caused a stir amongst Venture Capitalists and Academics alike.

Academics are relieved that a previously misunderstood phenomenon has been resolved. Dr. S.Banndyd head of the Cosmology department at the University Of Windsor is proud of the team lead by Researcher Dr. B. Smith, "This marks a great achievement by the team, and they should be commended. The fundamental truth, now finally understood is marks a boon to human knowledge. The mystery of Dark Matter and gravity is finally revealed. We are ecstatic. But we really owe our discovery to 500 years of public knowledge and contributory research." Dr. Smith is quoted as saying "We knew this to exist, the interaction between DarkMatter and the rest of space, but had simply not been documented before. But we have finally put the facts on paper in a quantitatif manner." he later added "We are very proud - and will be going out for some WalkerVille Ale this eve."

The Head of the Corporatist Whoring Department Mr. F. Mehard is estatic. Citing the case law established in the United States in the earliest years of this century, where corporations were able to patent basic action and fundamental ideals. He feels this will be a boon in license revenue for the institution.

"We have spoken with an array of Venture Capitalists and lawyers, and are sure that a new startup will be founded to commercialize this information." said Mr F. Mehard. "The new corporation will likely be called Gravity Inc., we feel that our patent-filling-slave^H^H^H^H associate will process the request online this morning - we should have our patent by mid-day. This 'Dark-Matter'(TM) ® © which we have described plays such a fundamental part of "RealyGrabbyStuff(TM) ® ©." ReallyGrabbyStuff(TM) ® © is the new trade name chosen for Gravity, and Mr. F. Mehard feels his product will be a hit saying "We fully expect that our Team Of Rabid Lawyers(TM) ® © will have no problem extort^H^H^H^H^H^H closing license deals with the residents of the planet. Without our "ReallyGrabbyStuff"(TM) ® © every person on the planet would be lost to drift in space - and as such, they owe the privilege being Flaeterning(TM) ® © (the expression used when describing the application of "ReallyGrabbyStuff(TM) ® ©") to the new Gravity Inc. Corporation. We were the first to document this behavior completely, and as such are entitled to owning all application of said technology".

Mr. F. Mehard and the Team Of Rabbid Lawyers(TM) ® © then left he University aboard their Anti-ReallyGrabbyStuff(TM) ® © vehicle, bystanders were noticed as saying "boy are we lucky - maybe now we wont have to live in the sewers and eat rats." the departing dignitaries were then seen tossing small pieces of food(TM) ® © and other(TM) ® © stuff down at the hungry academics and students below.

'digital nirvana' & ' untouched by any person or company along the way'What they are saying is that 'nirvana' is a naive and unattainable goal - that you are 'kidding yourself' if you think that anything will/can exist without the involvement of some 'company'?

What the hell is going on? I am becoming increasingly hostile (when will I go postal?) when I hear this garbage - are American people this fucking stupid? I dont think they are... but the your corrupt government is talking to people far below the lowest-common-denominator. Americans are being fed a steady diet of Ultra-Capatalist propaganda, so much so that a religion is forming - the whole damned country has been convinced that trying to organize the CULTURE by the CITIZENS and actually run the countries GOVERNMENT 'by and for the people' is a useless fairytail - that everything in the universe has been granted to them by some magical corporation who is like a fairy goddamngodmother. This propaganda campaign has stolen the will and imagination of the people. I understand the dynamics of capitalism has value, it does provide some benefit - but by no means does the country need these corporatist whores, they are essentially raping the environment, the population and the future of the Country (and world because America is enjoying a 'premier' position in todays world.. things change though).

This rant has little to do with P2P which is a nonissue frankly, their is no distinguishing a napster client from an ftp client from a ftp server from a napster server: Run an FTP site and your P2P filesharing - big fucking whip.

The fact that markatroids are speaking to sheeple as if this 'P2P' idea is something that is revolutionary it is not - with moderately fat pipes, and sufficiently distributed services (like mirroring /. onto 10,000 DSL pc's and randomizing the box that serves) you could re-distribute the whole net -we wouldn't need any big-biz to fund massive sites- again no technical magic.

The real problem is that screed like this is trying to convince people that the actions of an individual are pointless and meaningless, that unless some corporation ordains something it does not deserve existence (worse - if the existence of something hinders the will of some corporation it is sacrilege).

America had better stop and think what it wants for a future: Corporate enslavement or Utopian Nirvana - you may never truly have either (exactly) but you do have a choice to ORGANIZE A CULTURE FOR ONE OR THE OTHER: WHICH DO YOU WANT?

Despite what libertarians (clothing.dress("flameretardantsuit")) tell you, if you eliminate a citizen organized group (government), whose mandate is to provide service to the citizenry, for only their benefit, you eliminate the ability to act on the behalf of all people.. assure services, rights and protection. Im not talking about a massive, do everything gov.. centralized government is not necessary.. but one run by citizens for citizens (and only them) is absolutely necessary.
