If you signed a contract with that locksmith saying he could do just that, what is the problem?
Besides, Verizon didn't break into his house (connected computers), they simply changed the combination on the lock to a more secure one than the default "1,2,3".
as long as every machine using IE6 is blocked from any access to the outside internet.
Using IE6 with its 23 unpatched advisories ranging from exposure of information to system access in this day and age, especially on a government computer, is just idiotic.
My current employer had been using IE6 along with "reputable" virus/malware protection, firewall, etc and the machines facing the internet (as opposed to solely the intranet) were riddled with trojans and malware. Simply having them installed, especially if the user doesn't understand them and may be able to bypass them, is simply not enough with all the malware floating around.
This is what confuses me the most.
A quick search on TPB shows Mass Effect 2, all of its DLCs and various cracks and whatnot for it.
What exactly is pissing off honest customers like myself going to accomplish if the pirates can still get what they want?
TFA says he is a Lance Corporal, which would have given him an E-3 paygrade. Another article from a hometown newspaper says he enlisted in early 2007, which would have put him right around the 3 year mark.
As an E-3 with over 2 years in service he would make $1813.20 a month. If he was over 3 years, he would make $1923.00 a month.
Add $1,198.97 a month in allowances and he is making between $3,012.17 and $3,121.97 a month.
MSIE 6.x has had 146 advisories, 23 of which are unpatched.

So no, it isn't just "marginally more secure."
