How long does copyright last for?
Copyright generally lasts for the lifetime of the creator and then to the end of the 70th year afterwards. So for Elgar, say, who died in 1934, his original music came out of copyright in 2005. However copyright also exists in the editing, arrangement and reconstruction of previous music compositions and only expires 70 years after the death of the editor, etc. Copyright in recordings lasts for 50 years.
If you take this as the proof of concept I think there is a proper business to be had.
Better tracks with some camber. Better cars. Better camera. Better cabinet to sit in. Better car to cabinet feed back. Force feed back wheel & chair tilt.
Just made coin-op games interesting again. Well done. I want one!
Up and Toy Story 3 would have been good in black and white with no sound.
For my money - Avatar was FernGully meets Zulu. Very unimaginative and the 3D only held my attention for about 20mins.
I didn't not enjoy wearing sun glasses in the cinema. Regardless of how dirty or uncomfortable they were. Watching a dull half lit polarized image wasn’t fun. I used active shutter glasses in an IMAX over 10years ago and that was much better.
The main problem I have is, it’s not 3D. It’s not even 2.5D. If two actors are talking and just behind them there is a cute extra I want to look at her. But the director has framed the shot and blurred the back ground out. That's ok with 2D; but when I can focus around the screen and the “3D” effect compels me to do so it’s annoying. The image needs to be afocal with everything as sharp as it can be. I’ll look around for myself.
At this stage I do not want 3D cinema.
I am interested in it for driving games not much else.
Yeap, that's about it. Local access to cheap energy to power R&D/production/war. Then sail off and take things that you do not have in your own area.
Every country in Europe has had it’s renaissance at some point.
It's a CIV game with no save point.
Honestly, No. Maybe I shouldn’t be so flippant.
It is clear from the video that the intent to, and knowledge that, by navigating to the website and executing the code the phone would be "updated".
It shows a disregard for the property of others and stupidity for recording incriminating evidence.
It’s also funny. As a teenager I would have never of gone into Dixons* and remapped keys in the autoexec.bat as that would have caused the staff all sorts of problems. I also never set all the cooker alarms to go off at the same time when I’m in HomeBase**.
I hope this doesn’t lead to anything more than some Apple employee sending the phone off with all the other broken display parts to be repaired.
*Dixons, electronics retailer.
** HomeBase, D.I.Y. white goods retailer.
No please, don't say such cool things knowing it will never be true.
Seriously, with Google's wallet, you could actually pay for a decent writer to rescue the farce that is Tekken.
I think other games companies do pay a bit for good writers. Then some mid management arse wants to put his stamp on the idea. Followed by marketing at any level you care to pick from.
Writers are good at writing. Standing your ground is another skill set.
I could be talking about every business I’ve ever worked at regardless of idea/product. I can’t be sure. I can't stand my ground. Forget what I said.
I now want spend money on every bit of my machine.
The main problem is all the games I want to buy have some sort of DRM. So there has been no need to upgrade as I WILL NOT buy drm games that would spark an upgrade.
I’ve saved a fortune on games and parts so far.
So DRM hurts hardware sale too.
That's fantastic
So all you do is use that, and work backwards if you want to break any record. COOL!
The most interesting thing I've seen on this for a while is the pneumatic driving simulator by festo
Festo Airmotion Ride http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvG5rxVeY5M&feature=related
I'll have to go with Rocket Ranger for my game airship association. Years on, I still can't stand that "DRM" code wheel.
UK I found this.

That's a good weekend. I like TOH.
They may not be mortgage free; but everything helps. Well done.
