    I once had the idea to bit bang digital audio out of a scsi port, pipe it over CB and decode it 8 miles away on a Packard Bell.     yet I have been driving for 17 years and have yet to hit anything or anyone (been hit by dolts like you many times, oh I glanced once, didnt 2+2 together and went for it) but cause god help me, I am a cautious driver I get to deal with you morons all the time ... that's why I have 3 dents in my current car and again never hit anything in 17 years

    but 9 out of ten times they just make the driver too fucking lazy to turn their head.

    yes there are a minimal amount of times where you back over a toddler cause your too busy fucking off to pay attention to your surroundings while walking that 10 foot to the car, and being so god damned important that how dare you be bothered to make sure the coast is clear before rocketing off like the fucking thing was on autopilot the moment you get booth feet in the car.

    But the flip side is that rear view camera is a crutch, all of them have a fairly pathetic FOV and since you have a tv camera in the back of your Yukon why bother looking at all.

    mandate it all you want, it wont be installed on my 2 cars (which both sit so low a bicycler looks to be 2 foot above me) until I am reimbursed to, or in another decade or 2 when this fad of "im to fucking lazy to notice my surroundings and watch for that granny in a hoveround as I back out, nevermind my kid playing 10 foot from my bumper" is over

    yea cause its a huge problem now with my SATA2 ports and no SSD's cause it really doesn't bother me to wait an extra 3 seconds for the thing to boot once or twice a month

    I need more brain power, and could not care less about loading screens

    They weren't that incompetent, they kind of sort of had the first digital camera in the 1970's, they were selling them to consumers by the 90's along with photo-cd systems, and have some very sophisticated professional grade printers (not like a inkjet that sits on your desk, like a chemical laser do dad as big as a pool table)

    I agree with the assessment that they were arrogant, Kodak cameras to most people never really made it past the "isnt that a cute cheap camera", some reason Kodak felt that their little yellow icon and name would sell, frankly, featureless meh cameras, while everyone else is boasting about all the crap their camera does for about the same price. I dunno, I guess none of the suits at Kodak ever bothered to walk into a bestbuy?

    once digital got decent enough where people actually wanted them, then every electronics maker in the world started making them, and where was Kodak? Sitting around with a mediocre "me to" product on the shelf with 1000 others.

    I always kind of thought it snobby of them, why should I buy this camera? cause it says Kodak on the front? that Toshiba has more features and better image quality for about the same price, and the last Toshiba product I bought wasn't a chunk of shit ...

    I am currently currently specing out my next two new machines, and for the first time since 1999 I am going intel. The X2 and X3 that are being replaced were just a pain in the ass, and directly out of the box felt unimpressive.

    And its not like they were a great deal or anything, less than 20$ difference, so whats the angle?

    it does not change the fact that my internet connection is on shared bandwidth copper for dozens if not hundreds of miles, hitting a 20$ netgear router

    increase speeds by 10 fold, doesnt matter to me, cause the price to home service is retarded and I will not feel a single bit of it ... or in other words get your shit straight
