Adds options for "DESU," "op is a fag," and "sauce." Also offers modifiable buttons and built in LOIC launch button. Granted, these aren't really emoticons, but a whole lot better.
I wouldn't necessarily say a full third of content is faked, but combined with otherwise legit torrents where the parent seed botched their upload and started passing around fucked up content, I could see where someone might say a third of what they gather from the portals is fake.
Most torrent users that are not ignorant of the risks involved would probably consider all torrents faked until otherwise proven, anyway. The risk involved with downloading most of that crap is too great to just make assumptions, anyway.
It took a bunch of researchers to nab up a simple TCP flooder that, apart from being open source, was already known not to provide one bit of anonymity when used? Look up LOIC on 4chan's beloved Encyclopedia Dramatica, and you'll find something that says you'd be an idiot to attempt any form of DOS on your own with that software for very obvious reasons. People can find your ip address if you go it alone with LOIC.
But what about finding your ip amongst hundreds of thousands of other attackers? Assuming the system attacked isn't hung up in the process, it would still be a rather daunting and difficult task.
...and lose points for essentially making iterations on one game for the last 10 years...
Nintendo has been doing this for years with their Super Mario Insert-F*cking-Iteration-of-Original-Here products for much, much longer. Bungie is definitely not the worst in this respect. When you got something good, why not stretch it out? Game designers accomplish their initial image for the game in the first in series typically, so its nothing to them to sell out a bit afterwords.
Even if they didn't want to do this, studios such as Bungie, tied in with large corporate partnerships, can't have a say as to whether they will or will not release new iterations of their games. Its no longer in their hands.
I downloaded the IE9 beta and played around with it a bit (infact I am posting this with it now). I still prefer Chrome.
Additionally, I noticed the interface IE9 uses is not too dissimilar from Chrome's, and has a hint of Firefox likeness with its much largely inflated back button/small button combo. Coincidence?

Tell users they can earn stuff to use on FarmVille, and people won't care so much anymore.

Don't worry. Cuz just like Windows 7, Internet Explorer 9 was your idea. (tm)
