    you seems to forget that Google is a proponent of the offline browser capability, look at Google gear for what they have in mind.

    However I much prefer the text rendering of Safari

    This is so true but for me safari suck, it does not match my mental model of a browser, to me a perfect browser would have the text rendering of Safari, the speed of Chrome and the l&f and extensibility of Firefox.

    Malware is about third of the problem,
    There is not one OS that protect against the type your sudo password to see the dancing bunnies. Not one that protect you against phising and scamming.

    By mine it is, it work fast, everything that I need to configure is easy to configure. The security is good enough since my parents that used to have a virus infected XP box did not catch any after upgrading to W7 64bit. So please Mr coward why is this such a bad OS

    no,
    union exist to protect and promote workers right. I work in a highly unionized workplace and my union make sure that I have two 15 minutes breaks a day, 1 month of paid vacation and a minimum of one technical off site formation a year. We are currently negotiating and we are not asking for anything outrageous, we are asking a raise that is equal to inflation and we are fighting for a limited anti outsourcing clause.

    All union that I know of are similarly reasonable, except the following one: the construction worker union, they, like theirs industry, are corrupted and infiltrated by the real mafia.

    I personally think that he is a terribly weak IA that use confrontational tactics to hide the fact that it is a real dumb piece of software.
