Looks like Havenco has surfaced at the right time... if everyone moves (napster, and gnutella)their location what can anyone do?
I wonder if napster keeps their HQ here but Co-lo's the servers at havenco does the gov't have the ability to shut them down? will the jurisdiction allow them to have a server off shore?
Ummm anyone ever try to add any low #'s to yer ICQ list, there are NO numbers below 1001, the first 1000 were used for testing purposes and never released to the public and never used by anyone on the Mirabilis staff other than to test.
...and by the way I have been using ICQ almost since it was started, I have a middle hundred thousand UIN, one of the few that hasn't been spoofed. So im not just some newbie trying to jack ya around.

I wont need busses or roads on the info superhighway, and as for schools and librarys I have access to lots of online training and books at my disposal anytime I want it, not on they're hours, its 24 hours a day on the internet
I can't believe that scientist's can find MOLECULES in a gas cloud at the center of galaxy but they cant even find a single alien, Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me... heh they talk about finding a needle in a haystack, How bout finding the alien that dropped the f'in needle?! (I realize that no one placed the sugars im just making an analogy) heh.
UMMM nevermind I followed the link in the article and was reading the old slashdot posts... btw if yer gonna post a link atleast make it to the product. I'm an idiot anyway dont listen to my ravings.

no one talked about all the people who trade or download the stuff they already OWN...
I used to go on there and download stuff because I was to lazy to rip the mp3's myself...
if someone comes after me for downloading an mp3 that I already own the cd to im gonna be very unhappy
why no one points out that the music industry has been fleecing the consumers for years by OVER CHARGING us for cd's in the first place...
when are we going to get a break on the price!!!!!
Yeah a really effective virus is one that is half there... much like most of the half mp3's on napster!!
napster sucks... well at least most of the people serving up the mp3's suck!

all of you apparently just read microdrive and assume its an old post if you notice IBM announced 1GB microdrives, not the 340 of the past.
