    Won't you just be moving the energy inefficiency to a new fuel? Electricity has to come from someplace after all (unless you can get it all from the sun).

    I thought the same, and since have figured it's probably useful for organizations -- it allows them to send out brief bits of information that would require much more padding/salutations/etc. to look professional in an e-mail. Of course, organizations that hold meetings/etc. have something to say, unlike Joe Schmoe and his incredible recently-eaten pancake breakfast or other mundanities.

    I refused to pay a bill that contained unexplained charges, and they're still trying to collect the money. What does that have to do with you making shitty shopping choices and shopping at a company that thrives on tax scams, sending its impoverished employees to get government assistance, and thrives on child-labor produced products, among other things?
