I have a 3 year old daughter who certainly has her emotional moments. As a father, I can not imagine standing by and digging out my cell phone to record someone upsetting my kid. The more appropriate thing to do would be to calm my little girl, explain what is happening and just get through it.
To me, this is less about the actions of the TSA and more about the inaction of someone who is supposed to be protecting their child.
