Actually, there is a graphical version of mutt, at least a graphical mailer based on the mutt libraries. I'm not quite sure what it's called, have a look at comp.mail.mutt on dejanews, it was mentioned there recently.

Ah, the author... Just who I need. I've been considering fetchmail, but how do you advise to do posting? I don't know how NNTP works (SMTP on the otherhand... I've edited sendmail.mc and lived:-), but how would I post?
My question is: If this really exists, couldn't it be detected in some way? Let's assume they're tapping some major points in the backbone. So they'd just pick out all packets on port 25. Some router doing that would quite probably have quite some latency I'd assume. There must be some way to detect that, and similar things. Anbody got any other Ideas?
Good idea. One question: How? I've logged in, but can't find cancel account anywhere in the list. Or did you just mail them asking to delete your account?
What is a device driver: -Interface layer between kernel and hardware -Abstracts device implementation from kernels idealised view of a class of device -Assists developer with hair loss
The register is just pretty protective of their sources (Who blames em, that's why they get the news ahead of others on a lot of subjects). If you look into the archives, You'll find that most of their anonymous sources are in fact correct.
Have you changed your fontpath as advised in the redhat FAQ? Apparently netscape has some javascript problems with the default fontpath in X in redhat 5.2 (and 6???).
I believe you can assign actions to a few special click sequences with GPM. Use gpm in repeater mode and try that. Or if you have a gameport, there's a small program somewhere on freshmeat that'll exec specified commands on connection of specified pins.
Yup, but be carefull with this on a production system. You are in effect giving all local users root, unless you disable it with the sysctl. But that would kind of defy the purpose.
I never claimed anything of the kind. All I claimed, was that linux (unixes) have installation methods that are better or at least equal to those of windows. Yes, I think Open Source is going to make it, but my argument doesn't depend on it.
Or just type c, which is the default key for change mailbox. It's even got filename completion with tab.

Hate to 'me too!', but I think a few people agreeing with this here isn't a bad thing.

Call actually, but it I've never had problems with it, from my first 808[86], right up to my p2.

Why so long? Do you really need to determine whether it's a soft or hard reboot?

Welcome to the club.
I hereby vow that I will allway draw conclusions before actually reading the sentence. I will never read more than 12.5% of a sentence....
Cool. But do me a favor. Don't install as suid by default.
Thanks. Now we're getting somewhere.
Thanks. It doesn't segfault for me, it just says
Game mode indeterminate.
Oops, it says in the docu: rename to doom1.wad. My bad. Next problem: I start it and it says:
Error: Game mode indeterminate
params or something?
one question: Where do I put doom-1.8.wad?
I've downloaded the whole mess, and installed,
but xdlaunch can't find the IWAD.

Yes, I am incredibly brave. I went there with NS 4.7, no problem. Is this just a nice way to get hits? :-)

Tell me about it. According to top, my X is using 99.5% of my mem (On a banshee). :-)
