IIRC, there exists a variable type that has a decimal number encoded in a byte... Very lossy, I believe it was just using a few bits/byte... I've never used them, so it's all quite hazy...
I think this has been pretty much answered: Updates will only be done if serious bugs are discovered. Seems pretty unlikely, after all this time... But you never know.
How about using the least significant bits from/dev/audio (making sure the mic is a full volume). Even the computer's fan should be enough to make this unbreakably random.
Moderation is NOT censorship, so you can cut the footnote...
Anybody got anymore info on this? Specificly: What frequency does it emmit? Or does it really just emit one pulse?

So can speed.
which would translate to "donkere vader"... not quite what you're looking for I think... darth is not a dutch word.. (Thank god for that).

Never mind what state, what planet? :-)
Why not just 'accidentally' leave it on a very large magnet? :-). Just asking nicely doesn't work with the us gov.
>better off if AMD / Intel / Transmeta / Joe's Chip Manufacture could all use the same set of sockets.
Isn't the rumor that transmeta is making a risc cpu with x86 emulation or something of the likes? If so, I doubt it'll go on your standard mobo.
linux hasn't had any buffer overflows in ages...
If you want to talk about daemons, yes, but not linux.
Not really, because by the law (at least the ones we know of), microsoft isn't forced to restrict people from using their own cryptography.

Yes, but a black hole of that size would evaporate within microseconds.
thank you.
actually, there is khttpd :-)
Not more so than having modules loadable after bootup...
littlebastard.cx? Far to long. Wanna buy mine? :-)
Ehmm... OSes do multitasking. Aren't you referring to multithreading?
I think that by the time we had a real black hole in our solar system, we'd have more pressing problems than the packet loss.
I thought the crystals stored energy in phasers, and the memory banks where isolinear rods?
;-)
Oops, I finally revealed myself
And even worse: That person actually had something interesting to say.
Split personality?
TiK uses the TOC (Talk to Oscar) protocol, an ascii protocol that AOL has given free. MS however uses oscar... And aol isn't to happy about that...
BUGTRAQ? They covered this a while ago....
