If they're violating those rights, why don't you sue them? We live in a world of closed information systems. Would you expect the firmware on your DVD player or your microwave to be open so you can flash it with anything you'd like?

My ps3 can talk to steam. Unreal 3 supports pc made mods. I can play super sf 4 with the same controller I played sf3 on ps2 with.
