    The moon doesn't have a dynamo powering a electromagnetic shield. Yards of rocky mass may prevent some of the radiation, but not the kind that moves through matter and is deflected here on Earth by the shield.

    You're probably right. Doesn't change any of the facts for me. It also doesn't change that it was shared on an English language website with many people who probably have the same 'handicap' of being a native English speaker.

    I had considerable difficulty understanding the presenter while listening in a quiet environment. I was unable to render 3/5 words that he spoke. Maybe it was a combination of the poor video quality or bad mic pickup along with his speech impediment, but regardless of the technical obstacles, the onus is still on the speaker to convey their message as articulate as is possible. For that to be true, speech therapy is needed.

    That seems akin to the situation in this story where they ran the equipment right before the fire to show off to a potential employee and then locked it up and walked away.

    count of the cameras you are snapping pics with. I can only think of a couple of cameras that get 39 megapixels, and they are in the Pureview line of Nokia's products. Even those don't produce 39 megapixel images, they use a sampling method to make better images at ~9 megapixel final resolution.

    When these astronomical events took place that the space geeks would just simply tell us "look there at this time". I get txt updates when the ISS is going to be visible where I live. They are so simple: time, date, travel direction, elevation. Is that so hard for the rest of the space geeks to do?
