Well these oriental tecniques definetly have a point to them and work, we could learn a lot from Feng Shui and such like if people stopped jumping on the bandwagon and defrauding as with fake advice.
But what a lot of people don't take into advice is land cost. In countries like Japan, they work in much smaller spaces than ours and are still productive.
This is because they have a different outlook on work. It's not easy to just assume that aligning offices differently will change things.
Personally, I like any office that can be changed around easily and is informal. Luckily us decadent westerners can afford to do that
"But Doctor, if they take away my head surely I'll die?"
i) i don't agree with the man(?) but some of your reactions seem to me to prove his point.
ii) i can't believe no-one got the 11 joke properly. i bet he's laughing more than you're all moaning (if possible).
iii) he made a miscalculation. due to the amount of sugar in space we'll onlty be travellign 299 times the speed of light. sugary space is denser. duh!

i personally prefer beOS for multimedia but linux seems to be moving closer and closer to being a real alternative to both windows and be's limited system.
"But Doctor, if they take away my head surely I'll die?"
what doens't make sense to me is that there is almost an anti-linux feeling i the shops over here in the great uk. when i go out to a software shop and ask about what kind of linux software they supply, except for the few geeks that you can chat with happily, the staff seem to be angry that you asked. They really hate it. anyone have any interesting suggestions?

I think of it this way :
1) EVERYONE is (albeit slowly) moving on to broadband connections
2) So bigger picture file sizes can download quicker
3) Hasn't this been what's limiting graphics?
4) We can move on to bigger picture file with, also, more in-depth colours.
Maybe i'm wrong...

Three! One to hold the lightbulb, one to stand and another to twist the two of them round!
