You have to save your SOAP on a rope until after you work out in the FAT CITY gym. If you don't use soap in the shower, you won't be able to sleep with the Can-Can girl (since you smell), which opens up the whole second chapter of the game.
Yeah, they're not a "communist regime" but they still don't have the US government and things just work differently. Applying your morals to a situation abroad may not be right in all circumstances.
Sheesh. Bally is on the out. IGT has the largest installed base of slot machines and video poker machines and it's going up -- they make games that cater to not just old people but a new generation of slot players, young geeky folk who earned their money in computers. Check out Little Green Men the next time you're in Atlantic City or Vegas and tell me it's not targeted at Joe Slashdot User or Bearded Guy Named Eric?:)
Short-term memory loss is also a frequent side effect of common anti-depressants like Prozac and Zyprexa. I bet the more widespread acceptance and subsequent prescription by more doctors/psychologists has to do with the memory loss.
Now I'm sure this was relevant to something... what were we talking about, again?
SMC's ethernet controller on the switch in the Barricades is buggy as hell. I get huge delays in port-port connections every couple of minutes. The router portion is great, the rest of it needs work. I also wish they'd release a firmware update that lets the modem be a standby for the broadband connection and dial when it goes down.
Don't get me wrong -- Barricade is a lot better than the D-Link or Linksys products, but they still need a bit of work.
Even though this means they're about to get hosed off the face of the planet, Transmeta has had a significant effect on the mobile processor market... While AMD has shaken up the "inexpensive desktop market" enough over the past several years and managed to force Intel to drop their prices and to continue to push the Celeron line, no one really took on their mobile processors. Transmeta, by getting a couple OEM contracts and producing some damn spiffy chips, have gotten enough momentum to make Intel drop their prices, power consumption and the like. Even if Transmeta isn't around in a year, their influence on Intel will be... people won't pay the 4x premium anymore for notebooks that run at 1/4 the speed of their desktop.
No, the damn environmentalist hippies are the problem. Complaining about building power plants for the past twenty years just because it would encroach on some critter's natural habitat.
They should go back to san francisco with all the other hippies. Or get back in the kitchen and make me some pie.
This has nothing to do with a black hole, it's simply two Holzman field generators turned back-to-back and switched out of phase 180 degrees. If they're only a few degrees out of phase, you end up with a No-room. In this case, however, you end up with what appears to be an infinitely dense point in space.
I'd suspect that this actually has something to do with early versions of Kamen's IT. Which is exactly why we shouldn't let these things get out of control -- if they come together in a particular way, it will mean the end of the Earth.
Keep in mind that having the v-chip in your TV gives the government one less excuse to control what's being broadcast.
