Unfortunately, slowing down a spammer would not correct the problem.
If I were a spammer, I'd simply buy a whole lot of P-100's, set an email spamming program to them, hook them to a DSL line, click and walk away.
Sure, it's going to take a long time, but it's still going to work at the click of the button. With little to no cost for a setup fee, it's still easy money.
The article talks about using "Interrupt Tokens" that you can give out as a one-use token to interrupt (email spam, telemarketer call) you. If the person contacting you doesn't have an interrupt token, they can't contact you without paying your "Interrupt Fee", the fee that you set for contacting you.
I often get calls that I don't expect, and I need to take them. I can't have people unable to contact me about a business deal because they don't want to pay my "Interrupt Fee". They'll say, "Eh, to heck with it. I'll give the deal to the next guy down the line."
For telemarketers, I use the key phrase, "Place me on your do not call list." I get maybe one telemarketer call every other month, and normally those are recorded messages.
IBM may be leaving the desktop, but they still rule the notebook field.
I have had a Thinkpad 600X for over a year now, and I'm still extremely happy with it. It's sturdy enough to handle the abuse I give it. It's held up to frequent installs/uninstalls/formats.
Starting at just over $1,000 and going up from there, you can spec out your own notebook at IBM's Thinkpad Site
In my opinion, a much better notebook than Dell's any day of the week.
"And, by the way, add some good, strong cotton string with all your cables. That way it is a lot easier to pull through new cables after you've put up all the walls and painted. Pull a new string through with your newly added cable, and you can do it again:)"
No, Don't use cotton string. After it's been sitting in the walls for 20 years it will be dry and brittle. It will break if you're trying to pull a new cable through and catch a snag.
Use nylon string or something that will not deteriorate with age.

Heck, the human body wasn't designed to EVER work at a computer! A few years of working at any computer and your muscles will atrophy UNLESS you take precautions. Get up and stretch once in a while, walk away from the keyboard and **do not spend your life in front of your monitor.**
No matter how comfortable you are in front of your computer you still need to walk away from it once in a while. Anything else is unhealthy.

As far as the Nerf Arena demo goes, I really enjoyed it. I'm a long time FPS player (back to the days of Wolfenstien) and Nerf holds up to most other FPS's. No blood, no gore, no 'dying'. Just hit the opponent enough times and you get a point. (Sure, you can call it a frag if you wish, but they don't.)

All in all, a nice, civil, bloodless FPS.
