    The way I read it is that they do have to process every coin, but only some of them turn out to be worth something.
    I can't see that it is more efficient than the way some internet charging works (i.e keep storing up the amounts until its worth incurring a transaction charge to pay out.)

    Yep, I don't know if London is anything like here (up north) but when its the school holidays normally packed roads are suddenly empty because of the missing mummies and precious kiddies. They can't walk home because theres so much dangerous traffic around!! Doesn't explain why the mummies can't walk with them of course!

    I submit the following entry for your dictionary:

    The word anti-semitism has come to generally carry the connotation of dislike, hatred of or prejudice against Israel specifically.

    Or perhaps they know more than you, or have actually looked into it rather than reject it out of hand.

    You still dont seem to get that being against Israeli policies is not the same as being anti semitic.
    If someone said "Jews are behind 11th september!!!" then that would be racist and I would be offended.

    "Stupid" would be saying its not fast enough without giving a reason why.

    Most people browse the web and check their email. Its only fairly recently that even our office computers have got faster than 333mhz. We still run one on a P133 and up to a few months ago another P133 was hosting a database and some software (running NT) and it was fast enough.

    I think this (at as shown least in form shown on the site) is vapourware. It must have extra batteries, combined with the extra screen the weight of it wouldnt make it very pleasant to hold in a book like manner.
    There is no way that woman is holding it up from one corner with one hand. If she is her hand must be hurting by now.
    I think, as mentioned in this thread this kind of thing will come into its own with new display technology. Personally I want a Global as featured in the now craptacular Earth Final Conflict.

    You must have missed the five squillion (yep I counted them) aqua clones for linux allready. Most of them suck sadly.

    Personally I don't care too much what my widgets look like, I just want them to be fast and want nice fonts.

    Define handgun crime, is it violent crime or simply having an unlicensed weapon - or both? Also what are the rates before 1996 - perhaps violent crime was allready on the rise.
    Or are you just chucking out stats that make your case sound good?

    I don't dispute that data but if its so bad why does robots.txt say google is nice and allow it unfettered access?
    Two easy solutions, block or restrict access, thats what robots.txt is for after all.

    Ok, assuming you are telling the truth (which is very hard to believe) then you need to ask your friend to google for "robots.txt".

    Yep, I used to use hotbot all the time, then I switched to metacrawler. Google is king though now, undisputed.

    Thats a poor comparison. The whole point of the games you mention is being able to have multiple cars/sims.

    I'm playing nethack at the moment, so I have little sympathy for people complaining about not being able to have multiple characters. I am just happy keeping one guy alive.
