Also viruses and keyloggers no longer slow things down. This was caused by writing a piece of malware as a device driver using the XP device driver kit. AV scanners can spot them a mile away today and Windows 7 and later do not support this. The new ones are hidden and do not impact performance. This is done on purpose to steal information and the longer the users are clueless the better etc.

Linux is not an option as they do not know what an OS is at all and think Windows is built inside the computer for word and excel to display. Their phones work that way right.

A pop up warning them would be enough as they will bring the computer into a shop to fix. Problem is due to poverty is these people are quite screwed. The world is not the same as it was in the western hemisphere since 1999. In Asia it is the other way around.

Now what about someone linking to a published flaw? In this case the action is fine as the other user does the action and its legal to hack your own computer. It also is legal to link to a site which talks about it.

  13. Re:Atkin's Diet on Low-Protein Diet May Extend Lifespan · · Score: 1

    Not really.

Your body turns calories into glucose in very different ways on different foods. With sugars it spikes insulin which changes your metabolism and stores as fast after the immediate spike as you have too high glucose and then it comes crashing down too low where you eat more. This is what happens in obese people at the beginning of diabetes.

The problem is your body forgets how to turn your fat cells into glucose after eating an American diet. Your thyroid and pancreas need to create hormones to do this. The atkins diet forces your body to start producing these hormones in the induction stage. Then grains are gradually put back in a very small amount.

If you are obese your body is inflamed really and likely is stuck with glucose spikes. In essence you become less hungry as your hormone balance changes. ... so yes it is not a simple as oh eat less carbs it doesn't matter where etc.

Windows 7 has a signed boatloader unlike XP. The autokms hacks install their own loader. Windows update just changes the keys for the loader and viola now it is unregistered again etc.

So basically if you pirate Win 7 you have to turn off Windows update.

All the .dlls are signed and have a DRM trust relationship to make sure they are not tampered and this is all the way down to the bootloader which uses your OEM key with another another key to generate the third key to sign the loader and everything.
