So the more intellectual question is what is next if the surface fails?

I do not know of any ARM rt devices out there. I heard a rumor about an Acer but have never seen it.

Will this mean Windows 9 will be part of the WIndows 7 lineage and not WIndows 8/Windows mobile? Or will MS try a surface 2 and keep blowing money into it like they did with Bing and xbox for over a half a decade before they broke even? (Does bing make money yet?)

Personally I kind of got excited when it came out as Apple has a monopoly on the tablet market since they banned Samsung and other droid tablets out of the market here in the US for using icons and rounded corners. I have seen 1 android tablet in my lifetime by someone and that is it as everyone loves their ipads. But the surface lacked even a GPU unit and no cell phone service WTF. How usefull is this POS if I can not even get a map and weather reports if I am on the road? Seriously.

The surface pro still doesn't have either making it just a laptop and not a tablet and no disk space

Insecure operating systems exist because they are written in C. Not because they are from unpopular corporations. C has no buffer checks so once a data type gets all used it simply exists the next address in memory. OpenBSD is trying to change as is Microsoft as of XP Service Pack 2. Windows 7 and 8 scramble the memory addresses and offer sandboxing support for browsers so you have no clue where each .dll is loaded in ram when you try to do a heap spray after you exploit a system. I believe MacOSX now has this too as of Snow Leopard. It is also how Java applets compromise systems too.

I have seen clients servers turn into russan phising sites in major banks running it.

Sure as a consumer you are more protected as no one bothers with .5% of the market. As a government or major bank it is well worth it to be hacked. The problem with Linux users is the dangerous I am secure by default means another vulnerability where as Windows users kind of know better for the most part and are skeptical of just clicking on shit and know to keep things updated.

The state also proved Zimmerman was on top while martin was on the bottom when the shot was fired. That does not sound like self defense but an act of aggresion. While it is not illegal to get out of a car it is an act of aggression to get out and attack someone and with Martin on the ground here in a defensive position when he was killed it shows aggressive intent with no threat towards Zimmerman when he was killed.

Zimmerman has no serious medical injuries and no concussion too proved by the state.

With that said I was leaning towards Zimmerman and still am in voting not guilty as it is hard to prove beyond a reasonable doubt from the small tidbits I heard and there were no witnesses. However, I do have my doubts Zimmerman is really so innocent here? I have not heard the whole trial but the manicans and experts do show have a reasonable doubt he was acting in self defense. But, in the US we assume innocense otherwise I would vote guilty.

I need to hear more but from what I heard the defensive has a strong point. Now if Zimmerman was on the ground when he was shot that would be different. The shot fired was at least 4 to 12 inches away and no blood on Zimmerman is more proof. Hardly any of Zimmermans blood on martin showed the fight was not super serious.
