Bleh, most people don't know about IRC (internet relay chat), many networks (EFnet and Undernet mostly), have mp3 and download xdcc bots, IRC is harder to take down because it comprises of multiple servers and some in other countries.
I think this is a good idea, pirates ruin it for everyone as it is, if you DON'T want the app, DON'T BUY IT. $2.10 isn't a lot of money, for fuck sakes, stop being cheap fucks.
As noted, the market is dead, more and more artists are learning to produce and get their music out than ever, it's the end of the RIAA-related world soon.
I will watch the youtube videos just to make extra work for Sony - even if it's only a second or two of their time. I would love for them to come knocking - I don't own a PS3 (nor intend to), never owned a PS2 and my wife's PS1 is collecting dust in my basement. In fact, except for the PS1 only Nintendo has made it inside the walls of my house.
