    the british did not abandon the spellings to use americans, we took your old spellings and used them for a while, then webster came along and wrote his dictionary, simplifing some of the spellings in the process, therfore we improved upon your system you just stuck with the old more complex one

    actually we have had this working for months now. its become a very mature branch of the marathon source tree, and with some of the sdl networking code, may even beat the native mac version to having real tcp/ip networking working.

    so go for one of the old sparc 10s or somthing, their not that expensive on ebay, and they still have enough power if you upgrade them to be decent

    go for the leatherman, then you can get the hex drive adapter and take apart anything you could ever want to, my only complaint with the hex adapter is their use of a tamper proof screw for the pivot.

    why can't companies understand that a protocal or algorithm is free, you cna protect your implimentation of the protocal but someone is always going to figure it out and make their own indpendent implimentation

    yes but apple(and some others like sony) developed it and own the patents to it, so if you want to include a firewire(IEEE1394) port on your product you have to pay the royalties to apple. even though the price is only like 52 cents per port, that addes up to a lot of money that intel would have to pay apple.

    if you tell the browser to save the file instead of having quicktime open it(save thislink as...) then you have the video on your hd and can watch to your hearts content

    making the i cross platforn is evil! it then makes it hard for users of all oses to use. you should learn the native apis or hire someone who knows them and follow the human interface guidelines(if there ate any for windoze).

    id say he seems to have quite good credencials, he has hand coded, or recoded some amazing feats in his emulator products, thats why he keeps on refering to emulators, he writes them!
