I've been playing ATITD for a while, and you may be in for a big surprise. It seems that we're already pretty good at sycophantry. Building a huge pyramid, one that requires some 200 participants, and accomplishing it in a single weekend, is no small managerial feat. ATITD is very much a social game, but it's no tea party.
