if they constantly replayed Star Trek, Firefly, BSG, and Dr Who I'd be down. there is more than enough good scifi content out there to fill the air time. i just cost $ that the network doesn't have.
Microsoft could still drop Linux support and still say they have cross platform support. (just not all platforms). it is likely they they would be praised for doing this by their business peers. The move being seen as making the company more profitable by cutting away some of those less efficient parts of the company. a new Linux VOIP provides will show up eventually. we will just have to wait another few years.:(
i haven't seen an ISP that doesn't do this. 'higher bandwidth packages are a great way to download movies and music' i very much doubt that CNET would go out of their way to say that its users should willfully infringe on another's copyright. How ever if a user wrote that in a comments section, then CNET still is liable for their users.
to that point how did they find an Anonymous spokes person. they don't have meetings nor a roster. to join Anonymous you just need to participate in a DOS attack or just say you are part of Anonymous
I don't buy the ' I'm not doing anything wrong argument'. these people will be up in arms when their house is raided after they order the wrong book or visit the wrong site. You may think that people are smarter than that, and I agree, but there is to much information for people to sift through. It will be up to a computer to put you on a search-me-at-the-airport list not a person.
Stealing info from a business DOES cost them money, no matter what you do with it. It cost alot of money to contact 100,000 people that their information was stolen as well as investigating the hack. More generally, in some industries a breach in security like this can result in mandatory credit monitoring paid for by the company.
in short breaches do cost money, even if no one gets their identity stolen.
btw, Sony is a crappy company. any chance of me buying from them went out the door a long time ago when they took the dual boot feature away.
then the researcher wouldn't have found it, at it would of been a non-issue.:( this doesn't really change anything since most people will keep tracking turned on so they can use some social app that doesn't do much. soon we can go back to living in ignorance while our lives can be tracked and examined.
What rays would correspond to each color? i assume yellow = green. it would follow that a red dwarf might have color different plants than our sun. This would go for all stars of different type correct ?
Does anyone think this makes Oracle less trustworthy? Who knows when they might flip to a different mindset. Even with their impeccable reputation from before.
Anyways this is not a surprise. The community wanted to break away from Oracle as soon as they acquired Sun. It just took a few weeks for Oracle to give them a reason.
The parent companies are bigger. That may seem like small difference, but Google and Amazon can afford 10 years of litigation. MP3.com couldn't.
it not i. sry for the typo.
Are Eureka and Warehouse 13 coming back to hulu? haven't seen a new episode since x-mas.

CSS works the same way in all windows browsers for the same reasons.
They are already paying for their bugs anyway...or at least their consumers are.

making anything mandatory is a deal breaker. It is a good indicator of an overbearing boss.
Its just bad business. it would be like giving away stuff that you get a tax right off for burying in a landfill.
I can only assume languages such as this is fairly common? Can companies do this to employees also??

...and fade into obscurity.
If a user is bad enough to drive others away, getting rid of them is the strategy that maximizes the size of your userbase.
Then just ban them. There is no reason to get vindictive.
