    How will this make Linux a legimate business choice?

    If you will listen to the poster a couple screens above, you will discover that the "corporate types" rarely support Linux. Why should they? Like he said, Microsoft is where the money is.

    Think about it. If you distributed computers, would you want to distribute an operating system that your customers will be able to figure out, and therefore keep? Or an operating system that customers will have massive trouble with, thus ending in an at least quadrupled load on customer service, many more returns (and therefore less money for you!) and general unhappiness from the customer.

    I think you'd choose the operating system that customers will be able to figure out the easiest.

    It just works out better in the end. For all of us. For the company, for the user, for the world. Money isn't all that evil. After all, how would we clean up the world without money? But that's another topic.
