You know, and I'm certain that if my husband and his national security team had been shown a classified report entitled 'Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States' he would have taken it more seriously than history suggests it was taken by our current president and his national security team."

The washington post article talks about how Bill DID get such a report.

P.S. I REALLY hope Hillary does run, if only to shut up the loony left who think everyone agrees with their twisted POV. But I hope she loses to a centrist Republican so that far right does't think they have a mandate from God for once.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, spyplane, people being held for a while, etc... That's as much as will happen while the current economic factors remain relatively constant.

To me, this is more of a technological challange that needs to be tackled as opposed to a prelude to conflict.

I know this will turn into an anti-American thread, but what is the big deal? This was a dance the US and USSR carried on for decades. If anything, it will now force the US scientists back to the drawn table to come up with a different solution to accomplish the same thing.

If anything, your reaction to this story should tell you where you stand with respect to the US.

More power to China, I know this will force the US to improve/upgrade it's space efforts. And that, to me, is a good thing.

It's a story because we are NOW getting to the highest temps in the last 12K years. To me, that tells me that sometime in the past 12K years there was a period where temps were higher than they are today(since we are approaching the highest temps in 12K years). I'm sorry if you do not want to read that from the article. It seems like some of us are getting this bit out of the article.

Based on the title, etc... It's easier to summarize it in the way you don't like. What would you rather hear? That the temps are reaching the highest levels in the past 12K years, that the temp was not necessarily higher 12K years ago, but that the temp was higher than it is now in this 12K year period. But it is safe to say that the temps were higher thousands of years ago.

It makes sense because we are being told that humans are causing the temps to "explode" over the last hundred years or so. But how then could the temps be warmer 10+K years ago? Why were the temps so high back then? Maybe there are other processes that play a MUCH larger part in this whole temp change than we are currently aware.

It seems that you appear to be in full RDF mode than open to any possible ctiticism of what appears to be coming down the pike for the mini and macbook. If you thought the last bit of complaints over the 950 were bad - oh wait, you don't recognize those as ever existing. O, let me start again - If normal people thought the complaints over the 950 were bad last time, just wait for the firestorm when Apple's desides to NOT put in the available 965 and remains with the 950 when they update the mini and macbook.
