Sure, it's entirely possible that our current understanding of Evolution is wrong. That's not now, and has never been, an issue. What is, however, is the presumption that an explanation cobbled together from ideas in a 2000 year old book, primal mythology, and uninformed fear mongering, is the correct one. If that's the case, how about the Norse, Hindu, Buddhist, or Zoroastrianism, all of which are older and better documented than the Christian slapshot.
The fact that one theory might be right doesn't mean that another kooky one is correct and must be accepted without the same scientific rigor that prove the first one wrong (or right, we're not there, yet).
