Smart enough? Given the choices, it isn't really that hard to make a decision. They could a.) leave Hotmail running WinNT (crashes, loss of service, flagship server OS gets made fun of) or b.) Revert Hotmail to FreeBSD (it runs, and runs, and runs)

...there are still very many devices, that weren't covered by this ruling, that the Cops can use to spy on you. How about an X-ray gun that lets the user view you like you aren't even wearing clothes. No, not enough? How about an electronic nose that can smell drugs in the air from 60 yds away (hope you don't have any friends who smoke pot, that stuff gets in your clothes more than you think)
I strech my hands, wrists, and fingers every day before I start working. I also take periodic breaks to do the same during the day....it's been working so far.
If there isn't an option to turn this off (cause you know, this being M$, that it will be on by default) I will be switching myself and the rest of my office to Opera so fast it will make Gate's head spin. Not that he will care or anything.....
Or they'll just ask any of their geek friends, "Why can't I just burn this CD?". And I get to tell them all about the RIAA & MPAA, who Joe User thinks are no more than ratings advisories.....
Well, I'm sure the guys & gals at Padus, GoldenHawk Technology, and Nero will be glad to hear about this. It's not everyday a competitor tries to alienate a quarter of their customer base.
