    Actually dashpc.com is his setup but we have a yahoo group and forum for this getting input from tons of people. Also there are pictures and links to other people's sites about this. Some of them use the dashpc code others use MS Windows or their own X11 interface.
    We're trying to get the dashpc code to work with all kinds of configurations. As soon as things start calming down here at my work I'll be contributing to the coding.
    A few of the guys on the list are doing circuit design for startup/shutdown of the pc.

    I've yet to see any bashing for using something else. Everything has been a calm debate weighing the different pros/cons of hardware/software setups. We're really trying to make something that will work for everyone I feel.

    Sadly I still have it, but only because they've screwed my account up so badly in MY favor I'd be insane to leave. 9 out of 10 times trying to access the mobile web it's down. Back when it was myvzw.com i hardly ever saw it down. It definitly ain't progress people.

    At a previous job I was asked to write spam software and refused. Had a long calm discussion with my boss afterwards and was able to keep my job and not have to write the icky software.

    Covad has this. I don't have an uptime guarantee and it is a little more but I get a better upload speed and they don't give me shit when I put a server on it. As far as uptime goes in 6 months it's gone down 3 times for no more than 10 minutes.

    How can we consider ourselves the most advanced country if we allow stuff like this to happen? It would seem to me that having the source out there we would better be able to come up with new faster. Because of the limitations of the FCC we aren't allowed all the cool gizmos Japan gets.
