I distinctly remember seeing a trailer for it two years ago and thinking "Wow, that looks good." About a year later I went to the video store, but I could not find Imposter (little did I know that the film never made it to the theater).
The next trailer I saw was just last month, and it said the movie was "Coming Christmas Day".
Christmas Day came and past, and I never saw any theaters with it. Then I saw the trailer on Tuesday that said it was "Coming January 4th".
Well, after pushing back the release date 3 times it is good to see they finally got it in theaters. I can't wait to watch it.
I do not know what it is like in other parts of the United States, but in Illinois *all* education majors must take science classes.
I am a music education major (K-12) and we have to take 7 credits of natural science plus a 3 credit "Physics of Sound and Music" class.
Granted, the author says "in most of the United States", but it is my understanding that other states are adopting stricter requirements for education majors too.
Personally, I would much rather pay money to fly in a hydrogen-filled airship with added safety precautions. For example, they could design the cabin so it could glide upon detachment from the "gas bag" (anybody know the technical term for it?).
In case of a problem, the cabin could just detach, turn a bit, and escape.
Also, they could add some kind of monitoring system in case of a fire. Remember, in the original Hindenburg accident, people on the ground realized something was wrong long before any of the passengers did.

Even if an older Mac could run OSX fast enough, what about the screen resolution?
I run OSX in both 1600x1024 (my cinema display) and on my widescreen TiBook. It works great.
However, I would think that you would run out of space trying to run it in 640x480 resolution (which are what some older Macs are stuck at).
