Hey, nanites would be a great way to just eliminate the ova that are ejected from the ovaries in a woman's body, thereby removing the need for mood altering hormone pills, cancer causing IUD's, sensation stealing condoms, etc. They could even be used to eradicate virii, like HIV, Hepatitis, other STD's, or even things like the common cold and flu virii. the possibilities for good are almost limitless.
Okay, this might be excessive, but could you not use two routers to completely confuse them? cuz then all of the traffic flowing out of the outer box is NATed twice? Or would it not work that way?
In the Gibson book "Idoru" one of the main characters relates to a friend how her custom 'portable' computer case (no screen, but goggles; no keyboard, but finger cups) is made by a commune of people on the Oregon coast, and called Sandbenders. Neat idea, and a good read.
Um, could someone draw me a picture of what they're talking about?:-) Don't worry, take your time...
And, are we talking more of a canvas, or light gingham?
I must agree, that I can usually find what I'm looking for on the net... But certain things, like fixes for problems on equipment which is out of warranty... Like older computer or home audio stuff. Things that obviously the manufacturer isn't going to help you with, so why don't they post the information that they've collected in the time that they do support the product?
The home depot has a gift registry... And they have CAT5E, Fiber, jacks, etc... does anyone know if thinkgeek has a registry? Shoot, you could just tell people that you are registered there, and even if you aren't, maybe they'll just get you something cool.
Especially in software. There are too many things that people think should be patented, like that stupid Rambus thing... The tech isn't even that great...
Over clocking is a little over rated, IMHO, but I can see the practical applications, regarding stress testing, and just plain fun of it all... I do think that it's pretty cheesy that CPU manufacturers try to put a stop to it. It's not hurting them any, and if products like the P4, were worth the ungodly amount of money that Intel wants, then maby less people would overclock.

Okay, nobody is going to use Napster if they have to pay... The people saying that are just lying...
