Leave it to Lloyd's! My only question is what took so long. I really started to wonder about this when the DoS attacks were going on. Now I guess companies will be compensated for downtime when this happens? (Also more potential for insurance fraud!)
Hey everybody, it is certainly time to wake up. After years of reading alarmists and other paranoids talk about how "they" are watching, it seems that there is some much harder evidence. We have known all along that there was potential for privacy infringement, but now we see it for real in Russia. The worst thing is we can't count on legislation. The government (national) is frequently the culprit. This should be a call for states to stand up and reassert their powers in the government, in the United States any way. The constitution provides for limited government at the national level. It is time that this was enforced. No matter what you philosophy of government now, you cannot deny that this was the intent of the founders. Here's hoping it isn't too late yet...
It is that last quote that really bothers me: they want to run in a lower "stealth mode." The very prospect of that scares me, from a net admin standpoint. While it is more comforting that it is a commercial company finding a way to get around firewalls as opposed to script kiddies, I don't seeing it taking much longer for the crackers to find the same way through.
This sounds like a neat idea. I know I would much prefer a keyboard than the writing pad on my palm some times, and the collapsable, full sized one is too bulky and too expensive. Maybe I will think about trading my PDA up.
I heartily agree with you. I so want to see what Lucas does with the clone wars. I am also waiting to see how far Anakin progresses as a jedi before he turns to the dark side (I expect that has to happen sometime this episode). Also him and Natalie... As for Jar Jar, I think I will just ignore him.
High end Intel chips continue to outperform the Athalon. Why would they offer a lower grade of product. Certainly there is the cost issue, Intel chips are still way more expensive than AMD, but those who buy Dell buy for quality, not cost. Dell has nothing to fear from Intel, just its customers if they switch to a lower quality chip.
