    They have been granted regardless. Just because there's prior art doesnt stop a Patent from becoming, just because the law prohibits it doesnt stop it either. What you gonna do? In the UK the only parties that are anti software patents are UKIP and The Greens.

    They want to constantly transmit your location so they can charge you based on the ammount of congestion on the road you are on. A side effect is the speeding thing.

    I use middle-click tab a lot (practically every link), the proof of concept doesnt show the tabs (still opens them though)

    After a full day of working on uni projects I had no energy left to do anything else. In the end I didn't bother working on uni projects much and almost flunked, but it was my personal projects that got me my current job, which sees me sitting here at 10:42AM on a Saturday Morning (but it's a good job, really!)

    1) too many bumps
    2) quicker to walk

    If we moved away from an oil economy, tens of millions of Arabs would die. The entire Middle east is based arround Oil. Their only natural resource, they have limited education, and cant even compete with the far east on pure numbers of people.

    Stop buying oil and you relegate the middle-east to that of a sub-saharan economy, or worse. No doubt it will be Americas fault too.

    I think anyone who pays >$100 per share for a peice of Google is nuts.

    Depends how many shares there are. Most US shares are in the $10-$100. In the UK the FTSE shares typically are $1.50-$15 range. If google sold ONE share for $100 it'd be worth having. If they sold 1 billion shares for $100, it wouldnt.

    €299 (200 pounds, $350) for a Duron 1.8/40GB/256MB and no monitor? With mandrake set up already? Perhaps you know a family that want another computer while the kids are off playing quake or whatever you kids play nowadays, and the parents want to do some internet stuff. Good idea really.
