They have been granted regardless. Just because there's prior art doesnt stop a Patent from becoming, just because the law prohibits it doesnt stop it either. What you gonna do? In the UK the only parties that are anti software patents are UKIP and The Greens.
They want to constantly transmit your location so they can charge you based on the ammount of congestion on the road you are on. A side effect is the speeding thing.
Also they have Line in on the base, which is great for audio editing. Hear a report from some godforsaken helllhole like Iraq or Sudan? Dollars to donuts it's made on one of these.
After a full day of working on uni projects I had no energy left to do anything else. In the end I didn't bother working on uni projects much and almost flunked, but it was my personal projects that got me my current job, which sees me sitting here at 10:42AM on a Saturday Morning (but it's a good job, really!)
If we moved away from an oil economy, tens of millions of Arabs would die. The entire Middle east is based arround Oil. Their only natural resource, they have limited education, and cant even compete with the far east on pure numbers of people.
Stop buying oil and you relegate the middle-east to that of a sub-saharan economy, or worse. No doubt it will be Americas fault too.
I think anyone who pays >$100 per share for a peice of Google is nuts.
Depends how many shares there are. Most US shares are in the $10-$100. In the UK the FTSE shares typically are $1.50-$15 range. If google sold ONE share for $100 it'd be worth having. If they sold 1 billion shares for $100, it wouldnt.
Also, according to Bill there are fifty-some copies of Windows running at various locations in his house. (though bear in mind that they use it for eHome demo's too)
Aww man, that's about 1 reboot every 10 minutes isn't it? HOpe he has the bandwidth to get the patches
I dont read much French, but you can get the gist. I love this quote
- Windows (TM) est uniquement un système d'exploitation.
Nice to see so much "libres" mentioned too.
Also shows application alternatives

€299 (200 pounds, $350) for a Duron 1.8/40GB/256MB and no monitor? With mandrake set up already? Perhaps you know a family that want another computer while the kids are off playing quake or whatever you kids play nowadays, and the parents want to do some internet stuff. Good idea really.
I sometimes play music loudly in my car with the windows down. I assume they'd be mad at me for that too.
No, but you can bet I'll be mad. If I wanted to listen to your hippity hop crap or whatever you insist of blasting out, I'd buy my own radio. Keep your music to yourself.
Milwaukee Public Library received 1,235 copies of Whitney Houston's 1991 recording of "The Star-Spangled Banner,"
"He would have to consult the ultimate source of knowledge, the font of all wisdom, the keepers of even the most obscure yet vital facts in the universe. He dialed the frequency of the Milwaukee Public Library Ready Reference service and crossed his fingers."
I saw a political broadcast the other day. It said that "the tories will cut taxes" to hundereds of inefficent programs, I thought it was a broadcast by the tories, turns out it was labour
But reavers are getting closer to the core each year - they were near Patience's planet in Serenity, and they chased Serenity into the atmosphere (just befre the Crazy Ivan). It's been mentioned before that they destroy whole communities too.

But in this universe, thieves are responsible for the thefts.
This is a universe where the pub owner gets sued if a patron drinks too much and falls over and where McDonalds is responsible for making people fat.

That should be one command, tops.
What exactly is "half a command"?
I guess you wont be raising the speed of light in then
If the mathematics gets too hard, try a simpler physical model. Use your imagination!
Nothing is impossible, if you can imagine it!
Doesnt do address bar stuff either, but he says that's cause he's lazy and could do it.
I use middle-click tab a lot (practically every link), the proof of concept doesnt show the tabs (still opens them though)

More importantly hoverboards! I'd use a skateboard and hang on to the back of cars to get to work, but
1) too many bumps
2) quicker to walk
Hoverboards would solve this

If you're so confident sell short
Does this mean I'm allowed to drink on the job today?
:(
If it's anything like my work you can only drink if there's a "y" in the day. And there is only one bar in the building too

Having an wife is lucky? I'd play those tables if I were you.
Indeed, it's pathetic when News24 beats slashdot to the punch.
