It seems more like a rule than accident that these posts about meteors, most likely visible all over the world, do not tell the timezone. At 3 A.M tells me nothing. Annoying
Well well, the ARP(AutoRadioPuhelin=CarRadioPhone) network was officially opened in 1971 for public use. That covered entire Finland in 1978 serving over 10000 users. Transmission is around 1..5W on 148..155MHz so if the network wasn't made of cells, I wonder what it was.
There is a mineral water labelled "Loka" in Sweden.. I can imagine why they did not want to import it to Finland with the same name.
In finnish, loka means very dirty water or the brown substance formed of water, dust and snow.
We had that also few years ago in Finland - it was mostly used to advertise "oriental massage" and such stuff.. But we got laws within 2 months that say this kind of advertising is "disturbing privacy". And spamming stopped. But there is still one annoying thing: private spammers. I was a victim on one and I dialled to my sp. They told messages can not be filtered but they would be happy to pay everything if I want to go to court... that's some service;)=
