This makes sense. When I worked at a phone answering job where I took orders, a lot of people would call up ask for information then hang up to order it on line. People use the Internet to order at their convenience rather than at the convenience of the seller.
The Quake 2 engine is probably the most advanced open source engine youl'l find. But It sounds like it would be better to start from scratch if your advisor intends to be putting science expiraments into this...
The 'kernel.org' domain name was picked because by that time in 1997 the more logical seeming Linux dot names were already taken. The Transmeta domain was intentionally not used to avoid creating the false perception that Transmeta owned Linux.
I wonder what would have happened with Transmeta and Linux if they had used the Transmeta domain to host the kernel archives. Would IBM have gotten involved with Linux? Would SCO have sued Transmeta instead of IBM? Would Linus have left Transmeta?
I dont think Belgium is in the Netherlands. As shown here Belgium is right outside the netherlands. Hence with this added tax all the consumers will be grabbing them while outside of the Netherlands, whats outside again? oh yea its Belgium!
The new dual Power Mac G5 models complement the existing 1.8 GHz single processor Power Mac G5, providing customers with an affordable entry-level system priced at just $1,499 (US).
According to this the low end Power Mac is still the old 1.8 GHz single processor Power Mac, the summary indeicates that the lowest end Power Mac is 2.0 GHz dual processor. However asside from that one slip-up the Power Mac line is shaping up to be incredibly fast.
My aunt (most certainly not a coporate stiff) has a little projector, lighter and smaller than her laptop for giving presentations at hr church. Projectors are beginning to be accessories so simple to haul around.
Creating the server is probably 10x more difficult than creating the client, all the client does is send requests. The server has to handle merges, ACLs and more.
Just a note, this tool assists in no way with the move away from bitkeeper, it was only of benefit when the linux kernel was still in bitkeeper. All this lets you do is pull source from a bitkeeper server, it does not replace the bitkeeper server. The way this benefits the open source community is now developers can begin intregrating this library into other development systems (like IDEs) and allowing bitkeeper integration.
Gmail is turning in to a lot more than email. Using the labels and filters I have my logs emailed to my Gmail account nightly and automatically sort them according to where they came from. Since I archive and keep all emails if I need logs from a certain day I just search and find it. Since I'm checking Gmail several times a day if I could have rss aggregated in as well I could put something like slashdot in and be able to check slashdot while I'm reading through the daily logs. In addition to checking logs I also submit class assignments through Gmail. All of the stuff I do in Gmail means I spend a lot of time in it.
I thought diamonds werent any better at conducting heat and if anything are worse, they just didnt burn up when heated as quickly as silicone making them a good replacement for silicone in the processor itself.
Yes, ultimately they will produce heat. When an electron is excited by a photon it moves to a higher energy orbit, when the electron falls back to its original orbit it gives off that energy as infrared.
You don't see people going to extreme lengths to block Google text ads. Why? Because they are fairly unobtrusive, yet still visible enough for people to see them.
I suspect at some point a G5 mini will happen, we have the technology now with things like liquid cooling and whatnot. The major show stopper is cost, you're not going to hit the 499$ price-point with any G5 mac mini. Between cooling costs and cost for the processor itself it just aint happening.
Flac would probably be the best to use for one reason. It's open source, no fuss no mess just open source. Plus I believe there are now portable music players that support flac.
Too bad there is no speedup for the Mac mini yet, I'd love to see a Mac mini with a base G5. However it does look like they may begin putting dual core processors out in this update.
Im sorry I didnt mean liquid, I meant gas. Freon evaporates at a really low temperature. Well that and freon is illegal to use now, r12 was replaced with r134a in cars some time ago and houses now use r22.
Isn't freon liquid at room temperature? Your swimming pool wouldn't last too long, you'd either have to preassurize the system (not good for equipment) or refill it every couple of minutes.
4294967296, I've been trying to memorize the maximum value of a 64-bit integer but thats a quite bit harder.
except there is no reason to call the sales number, call the support number next time for information.

Compile each universe within itself, that way it only takes 7 total for them all to be done.
7 days?
Akin to subversion branching. The only question is, is there a "universe merge" command waiting to be discovered?

P.S. Funny that I randomly chose to wear mine today... ;-)
:(
I wore mine till it was full of holes and the code on the back is almost completely peeled off

You don't put straight diamond into the chips... you dope it with copperjust as with silicon.

Actually, most of the prepackaged adblock rules such as the one at http://www.geocities.com/pierceive/adblock do block Google text ads.
