    That is because you are looking at the wrong parts. If everyone else is paying *VERY MUCH LESS* than we are, and still have similar health outcomes, we're being screwed.

    MLR isn't the only place where you get screwed. There's been good articles written about it already.

    You have up to 90 days to opt out of it. If you didn't tell them, you can notify them you want in, *IF* you had an accident in that 30 days.

    Oh, so all the current Android manufacturers have more to worry about? That'd go over really well.

    Future manufacturers of things that use Google will have to worry about competing with Google itself? Don't think they'd like that.

    And manufacturing goes away from organizing the world's data.

    This basically allows Samsung to commoditize everything Google is doing over the next 10 years. Does Google care about or need Samsung's patents? For the most part, not particularly, since Google isn't interested in manufacturing.

    However, Samsung is interested in everything Google does, now, anything that Google has patented, or will patent, is now available to be productionized. Including anything coming out of Google X.

    Normal use, most people won't be able to tell the difference between a 10Mb/s uplink and a 100Mb/s uplink.

    Nonsense. I can tell the difference between the 10mb/s and the 30mb/s fios I'm using.

    And for everyone who keeps moaning about how 1gb/s is not anything you can use, go back to your 8086.

    However, I'll say this, not *EVERY* "hack" was the result of a loss of laptop or hard drive. There were some due to the websites. Just saying.

    I don't know. Perhaps you can download the source and take a look at it yourself?

    I do know that OpenBSD keeps meticulous man pages, and if it's wrong, it's treated as a bug and fixed. I once saw Theo rip out code in the dev environment because there wasn't a man page. This was after the developer was reminded multiple times that man pages come first.

    Doesn't basic politeness also include the person asking question to not ask stupid questions and waste people's time? Doesn't basic politeness require you to do your basic research before asking questions?

    When I first got onto the Internet, I actually read news.answers's Rules for posting to Usenet and even Emily Postnews Answers Your Questions on Netiquette.

    Anyone answering the same damned question(s) day in and day out when there's a perfectly good FAQ as well as man pages would go stir crazy.

    Put it another way. When Linus Torvalds and 3 of the core GNOME maintainers *CANNOT* figure out how to do something, and Linus asks for help from the GTK community and got a "meh", your community sucks.

    GTK
    1) Lousy documentation
    2) Lousy code
    3) Lousy developer community support

    QT
    1) Good documentation
    2) Good design
    3) Great developer community support

    Are you really saying Linus Torvalds "feels ENTITLED to the time of open source volunteers, when they don't make every effort possible to answer their own question."?!?!?!

    Any other developer, you might be able to say that, but Linus wrote the kernel himself, and still answers emails (I've had responses to questions I sent him!)

    So, stop justifying and defending the GTK people.
