I wish they werent so expensive so then i could use a java ssh thing on my companys website. I am baseing my companys website eventually on Slashcode and going to use java ssh with a digtal security certificate. (Though i don't know how to do that:-0) They said that to not be vunerable to man in the middle attacks and I don't want that to happen to my ssh server.
Handhelds will replace desktops. There is already technolgy that simulates a 36" screen. And with some handhelds comign with 133mhz and faster then you have one heck of a thinclient. If you put in SSH and a realy good comp and a internen connection you have a Handheld that plays quake!
well you could sell the viao and then wait until the end of march and buy a mac powerbook with DVD-ROM. Or a cheaper choice and not the best one is If you have ethernet just make a simple boot disk and du a network install debian supports it through the internet. I am personally waiting for Mac OS X because of the killer window manager (Aqua)
