Ummm... I'm sure that most of us who are 25 years old or older have pictures of themselves that are stored in bad conditions and still look decent.

Yeah! And i'm still disappointed that the ravages of time have not managed to improve my physical appearance :-(

  2. It's those bloody hackers! on Typical Home Bandwidth Usage? · · Score: 2, Interesting

Although I'm running a small server with just my web site and SSH access, an increasing proportion of my bandwidth is taken up (read "wasted") by the scumbags trying to hack into my machine. This is obviously worse in the summer when all the script kiddies decide to play hacker and now that the little bastards are back to school my ISP should stop sending me those warning notices. The problem is that even if I block them at my router firewall they still use bandwidth and complaining to Russian and Chinese ISPs gets you absolutely nowhere.

The thing is that some banks change site layouts quite a lot to cater for different marketing campaigns, so as long as the wicked Evil Twin kept the login panel the same I don't reckon the average user would necessarily notice.

Absolutely right, and they didn't suggest for once minute that the luser might actually have to do something, like check browser security settings. Unfortunately that doesn't make quite as compulsive viewing as just suggesting that the Evil Twin might be part of your session.
