Static. That's what I've always called it. Static. White Noise. Broadband sound. Whatever. It sounds like radio static. You can't help but turn towards it because it anoys the fsck out of you.
They (NCR) didn't give a crap about their patent until they realized they could possibly grift Handspring and Palm. I can just see the meeting that inspired this lawsuit (it probably involved some suit jotting a note on his PalmIII and saying "hey, wait a second guys!" NCR's really pushing it here.
What's the point of export restrictions now? Saddam Hussein already has all of the Playstation2's. All we can do now is sit back and wait for doomsday...
Stick me many miles above the earth's surface in a (relativly) small vessel and you'd be shocked by what came out of my mouth at the most minor annoyance.
These people are under pressures that nobody still on earth can feel. They're going to do whatever makes them more comfortable while doing what they need to do. Who can blame them?
If a good lawyer out there could make a firm case that you can actually _say_ somthing with your domain name then you'd have first amendment protection in the states. And WIPO could probably be sued up the ass for infringing upon that right (over and over again).
Just a though.
It might be worth keeping up there just to study that freaky fungus. I personally am not buying a ticket to MIR until they have that whole space organism thing figured out.
