    We're not talking about the police asking Facebook to hand over server storage so they can browse at their leisure. We're talking about government agents using Facebook or Twitter the exact same way that you or I would use it. There's nothing wrong with that.

    I suppose that it's possible someone could have an issue with possible entrapment, but I can't see where there's a privacy issue just because you don't think the stranger whose invite you accepted might be a cop.

    In over 100 years of the modern automobile, auto manufactures have not standardized on a location for the gas tank opening. You don't even have consistency between different models of the same manufacturer.

    I'll leave extrapolation to battery packs to the reader.

    Apple has been adding more and more automated tests to their vetting process. That is, in part, why some apps are being pulled after being approved.

    The OS kills any application after 5 seconds that does not end itself when told to quit. It has nothing to do with preventing 2 apps from running at the same time. Rather, it is because there is no provision to switch apps in the UI, so if the app didn't quit quickly, it would appear to hang the phone.

    The only requirement on timing is that state must be saved quickly to avoid data loss when the watchdog kills the process.

    You haven't really used an iPod Touch or iPhone, have you? You also haven't read many replies in this discussion, or the numerous threads in other discussions that give reasons for multitasking on these devices.

    Most games that I've played which have sound allow you to disable it so that you can listen to music. If you use a streaming service to get music, you'd like to continue while performing other tasks.

    You have no vision what-so-ever.

    If you're a car geek or an asshole, you might actually care about that stuff. Most people just want to know if what they have in the tank will get them as far as they need to go. For that, MPG (or LKM) makes more sense because people can tell by looking at the gas (petrol) gauge how much fuel they have. They might not be driving 100KM.

    If you have no symptoms, you are not sick. It doesn't matter what viruses or bacteria you may be playing host to. That's exactly what vaccines are about: giving you immunity such that if you are infected with a virus it doesn't make you sick.

    I have 2 apps (and one is just a better, newer version of the other). The apps are very niche and only appeal to a small percentage of the total world population, never mind the iPhone/iPod Touch owning population.

    And yet, I've made more than I spent on development. It's not a living, by any stretch of the imagination, but I most definitely have recouped my development costs.
