is this actually going to help the RIAA? any repercussions in the form of a boycott would cause sales to go much farther down than file trading would have caused. and didn't sony and other record companies admit to price fixing not too long ago?
where's that lucasarts we used to know, the one that produced TIE fighter? if this is an episode one game, it better not be as bad as the other ones...this is just the type of star wars games we've been waiting for (although if it was more action/rpg than item/points management it would be cool, but I've never played baldur's gate so I'm not sure of the format). lucasarts arguably hasn't had a really good game in a few years...here's their chance
if romero helped, the game would cost millions of dollars, be delayed for 8 years, have 600 rounds of employees leaving, tons of publicity, and a final product that sucks more than mister jar jar himself
this is sort of like intel suing random companies because they pose a threat to their stronghold (amd, VIA, etc.) intel never wins, and if they did, they'd lose in that it'll just get more people to switch over to amd. if nvidia was confident in their products, which happen to be among the top video cards out today, they should have no problems having voodo5's reviewed alongside. in fact, they should want it, geforce's have been getting better reviews...
that 80 gig drive is 40 times bigger than the drive that came with my computer. I should be ashamed. are 80 gig drives for home use ever going to catch on? it's cool to see how big they can get, but won't it get to the point where people just have no use for the extra space
microsft will probably buy coca cola, and come out with Microsoft Cola Millenium Edition, the carbonated water based OS for the home. buy in packs of 12 or 24. of course, Linux OpenPepsi would be better, if I could get my video card to work with it
