Excuse me? What goals are those? A better standard of living, perhaps? At least we've figured out that crops don't grow in sand and that we should'nt poop in the same gutter where we get our drinking water. I feel bad for all the people that have been downtrodden, but if it's that bad, try moving somewhere else. Mankind has always migrated to greener pastures. If you choose to live where there are no natural resources, why should we "redirect" our goals to support you. If you can't feed 'em, don't breed 'em.
When I've pinned the meter to the max on my credit card, will my access to the internet go away? That would suck. What about access at work? I'm sure that my employer wouldn't want to pay to have me surf.
But what about the rights of the censors. Aren't they entitled to free speech? Don't they have the right to tell some one to shut up? When will somone stand up for these people? The censors have a right to be heard, too!
Of course my social life was important when I made a career choice. I worked as a roadie for almost 20 years. Getting paid to hang out in bars, drink heavily and leer at women? No questions there. I'd do it again if I wasn't so old.
I've nearly completed Deus Ex on "medium" difficulty. When I'm done I'm going back for seconds on "realistic". Best stupid shoot 'em up yet. Hopefully it will hold me until Duke Nukem Forever comes out.
