    Ian Clarke mentions reliability of the network, but he doesn't mention reliability of the data. I'd better spend 1 minute getting reliable data over the Atlantic than get possibly falsified data from a neighbor.

    Anybody remembers util-linux with a backdoor on a server in Holland?

    I'm not going to rely on any data from untrusted sources.

    Some people say that the ballot in Palm Beach county was confusing. I have to disagree. Imagine a ballot filled up with Perl code - that would be really confusing:

    When was the last time you spent a night debugging free software?
    Besides, almost all the comments imply that you are running Windows.

    As far as I know the S-Zet is still used, but not in the words where it can be replaced with "ss" without affecting the pronounciation.

    I.e. Gie/3er remains Gie/3er, but da/3 becomes dass.

    What really bothers me is that Mr. Gates uses term Linux when he means GNU/Linux, i.e. the whole operating system, not just the kernel.
